Celebrating Inclusion, Empowering Voices
Every June, Pride Month marks a global celebration of the LGBTQ+ community—honoring its history, amplifying its voices, and continuing the vital work toward equality and inclusion. At Cellnex, Pride is not just a month on the calendar—it’s an ongoing commitment embedded in our values, our culture, and our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy.
Fostering Belonging Through Pride
This year, we are proud to shine a spotlight on several initiatives that reflect our unwavering support for LGBTQ+ inclusion. Among them is our continued participation in the #IAmRemarkable global movement, which empowers individuals—especially those from underrepresented groups—to celebrate their achievements and build self-confidence through storytelling and self-affirmation.
During June, we hosted dedicated #IAmRemarkable sessions in multiple languages (English, Spanish, French, and Polish), allowing our global workforce to engage meaningfully and offering a safe, dynamic space for reflection and empowerment.
These sessions are more than workshops—they’re spaces of visibility, connection, and pride. And this year, we’re also thrilled to announce that Cellnex served as the local lead for #IAmRemarkable in Spain, kicking off with a landmark in-person event on June 10th in Barcelona, bringing together 14 facilitators to mark the beginning of “Remarkable Together”—a new initiative that nurtures community and belonging.
Building Bridges Across Generations
In May, during EU Diversity Month, we hosted a Cross-Generational Connecting Circle, a key action from our EDI Annual Plan. Colleagues from across departments, countries, and age groups came together to explore how generational diversity can enrich collaboration and learning.
The session fostered curiosity over assumptions, replacing labels with listening. Participants discovered that generational differences often fade compared to the richness of shared human experience. As one attendee put it: “Generational differences are not a problem; they are an opportunity for everyone to learn.”
Creating a multigenerational-friendly workplace is central to our EDI vision. From mentorship programs and hybrid working models to inclusive communication styles, we aim to ensure that everyone—regardless of age or background—can thrive and contribute.
More Than a Celebration
Pride Month is a powerful reminder of the resilience, diversity, and unity of the LGBTQ+ community. Yet it also calls us to action. Around the world, LGBTQ+ individuals still face inequality, discrimination, and marginalization. This is why, at Cellnex, we go beyond celebration to advocate for systemic change, align our practices with our ESG strategy, and promote truly inclusive policies and initiatives.
Looking Ahead
From Pride Month to Diversity Month, from cross-generational understanding to self-empowerment workshops, Cellnex continues to grow a culture where everyone is seen, heard, and valued. Because true progress happens when we all rise together—celebrating not only who we are, but who we can become, united.
