Barcelona, 25 June 2025.- Cellnex has signed an agreement to become a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF). This agreement aims to project the industrial discourse about our sector, create community, foster dialogue, and strengthen collaboration networks with companies and institutions.
As a leader in telecommunications infrastructure, Cellnex joins the WEF to contribute its expertise as a European-wide reference in the sector. According to Ignacio Jiménez Soler, Communication and Public Affairs Director of Cellnex, “For us, this represents a great opportunity to create new avenues of collaboration with policymakers and other key stakeholders”.
Through this partnership, the company can build connections and shape future strategies, bringing together the public and private sectors to achieve significant impact. “These centers can offer Cellnex the opportunity to address global challenges, drive transformation, and position Cellnex as a leader of change in the industry,” said Ignacio Jiménez Soler.
Cellnex will initially engage with the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), a global initiative designed to help governments, businesses, and civil society anticipate and shape the trajectory of emerging technologies, and the AI Governance Alliance, a global multistakeholder initiative to provide guidance, tools, and resources to facilitate the responsible and inclusive development and deployment of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies worldwide.
