Solar photovoltaic installation at Arganda International Teleport
International Teleport of Arganda del Rey (Madrid, Spain) is a node for the reception and broadcasting of television and radio signals.
With the installation of 564 photovoltaic panels, the teleport will generate more than 462.748 kWh.
The Community of Madrid has awarded On Tower Telecom Infraestructuras (Cellnex) an amount of 33,705€ to carry out this self-consumption installation, with an installed peak power of 304 kWp, which will reduce pollution by substituting fossil fuels.
This project is part of the comprehensive plan to power with solar panels the 45% of the sites of Cellnex in Spain. You can find more information about the comprehensive project here.
