Strategic shift at Cellnex. João Cardosa appointed the Board

Strengthening of Cellnex’s management team in Poland and in the Central and Western Europe region. João Cardosa has become Director of Strategy and Transformation of the newly created Cellnex Telecom cluster, covering Poland, the Netherlands and Portugal. At the same time, he joined the Management Board of Cellnex Poland. 

João Cardosa has held managerial positions at Cellnex Portugal since 2019 in sales, marketing and business development. His new position as Director in the cluster and member of the Board of Directors in Cellnex Poland emphasizes the importance of Polish in the company’s strategy. Cardosa’s experience and expertise will be crucial in supporting the new CEO in achieving his ambitious goals, especially in the context of the dynamic digital transformation and development of the next generation network in Poland. 

Changes in the structure of Cellnex. João Cardosa joins the board 

In June, Nuno Carvalhosa took over as CEO of Cellnex Poland and CEO of Cellnex Telecom’s Central and Western Europe cluster. This evolution of the company’s structure is another step in the consistent construction of a pan-European infrastructure leader that will effectively respond to the needs of the digital transformation of the continent. Cellnex is thus betting on greater efficiency and dynamism as well as faster deployment of sustainable connectivity solutions, tackling fragmentation and digital divides.  

As CEO of Cellnex Poland, experienced manager replaced Santiago Argelich, who had led the Polish branch since its inception in 2021.
