Maria Carrapato, new Group Investor Relations Director at Cellnex
- With this appointment, the Company strengthens its Investor Relations department to continue enhancing communication between the company and its stakeholders
Barcelona, 1 July 2025. Cellnex, Europe’s leading wireless telecommunications operator, has appointed Maria Carrapato as the new Group Investor Relations Director. She will manage the Investor Relations department, leading the relationship with investors and analysts, ensuring consistent and transparent communication, in line with Cellnex’ business strategy, and that the company complies with all relevant regulations. She will report to Raimon Trias, CFO at Cellnex Telecom.

We are pleased to welcome Maria Carrapato, who brings a distinguished career in investor relations and sustainability to our team. Since 2020, she has been the Head of Investor Relations and Sustainability at NOS SGPS and led the Investor Relations team at NOS since 2007. Prior to that, Carrapato managed Investor Relations at two publicly traded Portuguese companies, Sonae Indústria and Sonaecom, from 2000 to 2007.
Carrapato began her career as a financial analyst at Banco Português do Atlântico and subsequently joined the international equity sales team at Banco Português de Investimento, where she also contributed to the establishment of the international trading desk. She holds a degree in Business Management and an MBA, and she actively participates in various pro-bono activities, including serving as a member of the Board of Governors of the Oporto British School and receiving an MBE for her contributions to British education in Portugal.
