CYBERSEC (Research in Emerging technologies to achieve Cyber Secure and Resilient Infrastructures) has the aim of providing more protection and resilience against cyber-attacks to connected environments through research in emerging technologies in attack detection, attack simulation, communication systems (5G, NB-IoT, IIoT, OT, ICS) and Artificial Intelligence. The investment of the whole Consortium is 7.304.640 € in 48 months.
As a project framed in the Management of Cybersecurity in highly critical connected environments, it is promoted by VODAFONE, ALAVA, RETEVISION, FCC, EUROCONTROL, MOLLITIAM, THINGSO2 and AZVI; highly positioned in the different s positions of its value chain, together with 5 Research Organizations of recognized prestige in the sector. The CYBERSEC project will facilitate the adoption of new generation technological solutions that provide security, resilience, traceability and privacy to information systems in critical environments such as Smart Cities, Industry 4.0 or critical infrastructures; through research in network attack and protection technologies, IoT, communications (5G, NB) or Artificial Intelligence (AI). All of them disruptive technologies in the international and national technological panorama.
The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), answering to the Ministry of Science and Innovation, has awarded a grant for the development of the Project “CYBERSEC: RESEARCH IN EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES TO ACHIEVE CYBER SECURE AND RESILIENT INFRASTRUCTURES” within the call for the CIEN-20200003 Strategic Programme, with reference number IDI-20201114.
