The aim of the MIIAS project is the design, development and conceptual testing of a platform for administering the mobility of people and vehicles under the new Smart City paradigm, focusing on issues related to parking.
MIIAS introduces sensorisation and viewing technologies into the smart cities in order to capture data, as well as new technologies that permit optimal management of parking and of vehicles seeking parking space in order to improve in-city road safety.
The project uses Abertis’ Smart Zone, and the data obtained will contribute to its development and improvement. The MIIAS project is led by Tradia, and the participants include SABA, PARKARE, TREDESS and CIRCONTROL.
This is a two-year project and is supported and funded by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism through the AEESD Plan and ERDF. (File: TSI-020601-2012-11).
