The SERES project consists of the development of a global safety solution for Smart Cities that permits the detection of vulnerabilities that might compromise data integrity and confidentiality, as well as network availability in the systems different technological layers. The solution also defines controls and corrective measures to mitigate these vulnerabilities.
The project addresses safety and security in all a Smart City’s layers, from the data capture system (sensors) through to the system’s management and operating platform, including the data transport network.
The SERES project is led by Tradia with the participation of CIRCONTROL. It is a two-year project and is supported and funded by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism in the setting of the Strategic Action on Economy and Digital Society (AEESD), within the Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research Plan 2013-2016.
