At Cellnex we integrate ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) aspects into our strategy, measuring and managing the impacts we generate on society and the environment in an efficient and responsible manner.
Our value creation model, based on the Sustainaility Policy, is materialised through the 2021-2025 ESG Master Plan that sets out the roadmap to be followed.
By establishing objectives and commitments, we aspire to continue improving Cellnex’s sustainability performance while extending our commitment throughout our value chain and with our stakeholders.
Sustainability Master Plan 2030
Cellnex’s sustainability approach during the past five years has been guided by the 2021–2025 ESG Master Plan. This Plan laid the foundations for a robust sustainability strategy during a period of rapid growth, consolidation, and geographic expansion. These objectives have been successfully achieved, and today Cellnex is recognised as a sustainability leader.
As the company has matured, it is now ready to take the next step, fully embedding sustainability into its operations and business model as it looks ahead with the Sustainability Master Plan 2030.

Our commitment to the SDGs
At Cellnex we are committed to achieving the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Since our beginnings in 2015 we have been part of the United Nations Global Compact as an expression of our commitment to internalising the corporate social responsibility concept into our operational strategy and organisational culture. Each year we publish the Communication on Progress (COP) in accordance with the ten principles of the Global Compact.
Every year we analyse, measure and communicate our commitment to the SDGs that we have identified as priorities. This is our contribution to SDGs:

- The third edition of the Cellnex Bridge programme was launched, focusing on accelerating social impact startups.

CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project)
CDP is a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. The world’s economy looks to CDP as the gold standard of environmental reporting with the richest and most comprehensive dataset on corporate and city action.
Consolidated as a low-risk ESG company for the fifth consecutive year and bringing the company closer to negligible risk. The 2025 was the fourth year that Cellnex has been included in Sustainalytics Industry Top Rated ESG Companies List. Also has been identified as 2026 ESG leader by Sustainalytics, based on ESG its Risk Rating Score.
Sustainalytics - STOXX Global ESG Leaders
Sustainalytics, a Morningstar Company, is a leading Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research, ratings and data firm that supports investors around the world with the development and implementation of responsible investment strategies.
Cellnex remains as leader, upgrading its rating from AA to AAA, where only 9% of companies in the Telecommunications Services sector have obtained this rating. Cellnex continues to stand out for its leadership in Environmental, with score of 10 out of 10.
MSCI
MSCI is a leading provider of critical decision support tools and services for the global investment community. MSCI ESG Research provides MSCI ESG ratings on global listed companies, and some unlisted companies, on a scale from AAA (leader) to CCC (laggard), based on exposure to industry-specific ESG risks and how well they manage those risks relative to peers.
In 2025 Cellnex has maintained the global score performance (4.3) and total score is still above the subsector average (mobile telecommunications) by + 0,9 points and industry average (telecommunications) by 1.2 points.
FTSE4Good
The FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. Transparent management and clearly-defined ESG criteria make FTSE4Good indexes suitable tools to be used by a wide variety of market participants when creating or assessing sustainable investment products.
In 2025, Cellnex improved its results +6 points vs 2024 S&P, scoring 82 (out of 100) Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA Score as of December 25). In January 2026 the company has also included in the 2026 Sustainability Yearbook.
Dow Jones Sustainability Index
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) are a family of best-in-class benchmarks for investors who have recognized that sustainable business practices are critical to generating long-term shareholder value and who wish to reflect their sustainability convictions in their investment portfolios.
Cellnex is member of the SE Spanish Index since 2017. In early 2023, the company was upgraded in the Corporate Standard Ethics Rating (SER) to "EE", from "EE-" previously, with a positive outlook.
Standard Ethics
The Standard Ethics Rating is an evaluation of the level of compliance of companies and sovereign nations on matters such as governance and sustainability as indicated by documents and guidelines published by the United Nations, the OECD and the European Union. By applying this methodology, Standard Ethics’ approach can be considered as 'ethically neutral’
